Who We are

  • DEVELOPING individuals, STRENGTHENING families,  and CULTIVATING a life of real relationship with Jesus Christ and others!

    • Gather: Inviting all people to find their place in the family of God.
    • Develop: Encourage people to experience God's Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness.
    • Equip: Teaching people the truth of God's word and training them to walk daily in the presence of the Holy Spirit as an overcomer.
    • Activate: Empowering God's people to take their place of service where they can use their God given talents and gifts.
    • We believe in one God, holy, infinite and personal, creator and sustainer of all things, who exists eternally in three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Because He is sovereign, His just and loving purposes are being accomplished. (Deut. 6:4, Gen. 1:1-2, 26-27, 3:22, Ps. 90:2, II Pet. 1:17, Heb.1:3, 1:8, Acts 5:3-4, Matt. 28:19, II Cor. 13:14, Eph. 1:11)
    • We believe in the Lord Jesus, who is God and came to earth in the flesh as man. He shared in creation with the Father, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as the final sacrifice for our sins, was buried and rose physically from the dead, demonstrating His power over sin and death. He ascended into Heaven where He intercedes for His people; He will return for His Church and will judge the living and the dead. Salvation is found in Him alone. (John 1:1-3, 5:21-24, Matt. 1:20-25, Heb. 7:25, 10:11-14, 1 Cor.15:3-11, Acts 1:9-11, 4:12, I Thess. 4:13-18)
    • We believe in the Holy Spirit. He is present in the world convicting those who need salvation and is active in their being born again. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He also sanctifies, or "sets apart", the believer for sacred use. This empowering comes through the commitment of emptying of self so that He may fill us with His Spirit. This filling will be characterized and evidenced by manifesting the fruit of the Spirit. He teaches guides, equips and gives spiritual gifts to God's people as He determines for the purpose of ministry. (John 16:8-15, 14:26, Titus 3:5, Gal. 5:22-23, I Cor. 12:4-11, Acts 1:8)
    • We believe the Bible is the Word of God for all man. It was written by human authors under the supernatural inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the infallible and final authority for what we believe and how we live. (II Tim. 3:16-17, II Pet.1:20-21, Matt. 5:17-18, John 10:35, Ps. 119:105)
    • We believe that Satan is a personal being. He is the enemy of God and God's purposes. He is the accuser and tempter of God's people and the deceiver of all man. His final and complete overthrow is certain, and he knows it. (Matt. 4:1-11, I Pet. 58-9, Rev. 12:10, 20:10, II Cor. 11:14)
    • We believe that man was created in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He was created to glorify God and to enjoy fellowship with Him forever. Although man has a tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. All men are sinners by nature and choice. This sin separates us from God. (Gen. 1:26-27, Rom. 3:10-23, 5:12-14, Is. 59:1-2, Eph. 2:1-3)
    • We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a gift from God. God declares righteous all who are repentant and trust in Christ's atoning death on the cross for salvation. They are born again of the Holy Spirit into the family of God, thereby receiving eternal life. (Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 6:23, 8:31-39, Titus 3:5-7, John 10:27-29, 17:3)
    • We believe the Church is the spiritual body of whom Christ is the Head. The Church is all who are born again. The Church's purpose is to spread the Gospel to the entire world, to make disciples of believers and to care for God's family. It is also the ministry of the Church to provide help in caring for those in need around us. The ordinances of the Church are water baptism and the Lord's Supper. (Eph. 1:22-23, 4:11-16, I Cor. 11:23-29, 12:13, Matt. 28:19-20, Acts 2:41)
    • We believe in the physical resurrection of the body. Believers will be raised to eternal joy in His presence and unbelievers to eternal misery and separation from God. (John 5:28-29, I Thess. 4:13-17, Rev. 20:11-15)
    • We believe in divine healing as provided for in the atonement of Jesus Christ's death, and as practiced by the early Church. (Is. 53:4-5, I Pet. 2:24-25, Acts 4:30, 19:11, Rom. 8:11, I Cor. 12:9, James 5:14)
